Description

Humberside Airport is 10 nm west of Grimsby and around 24 km from both Kingston upon Hull (accessible via the Humber road bridge) and Scunthorpe. It is a small domestic and international airport and also a base for helicopters flying to offshore gas platforms in the North Sea.

Temperate Marine climate/Oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). Moderately cool summer and comparatively warm winter with a temperature range of only 14°C. Prevailing south-westerly winds from the Atlantic Ocean.
