Airborne Airpark
Description
Airborne Airpark is a public-use airport located 3.7 km southeast of the central business district of Wilmington, a city in Clinton County, Ohio, United States. Airborne Express had formerly had private ownership of the property while operating from it but the company subsequently decided to donate the property to the Clinton County Port Authority.
The airport was formerly known as Clinton County Air Force Base.
Climatology
Humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification Dfa) - characterized by four seasons: cold, windy, snowy winters, mild springs, hot, humid summers, and crisp and relatively short autumns. Precipitation reaches its lowest in January and February and peaks in summer and latter half of spring.
