Cincinnati Municipal Airport, also know as Lunken Field, is a public use airport located 5 km southeast of the central business district of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Transition zone of humid “subtropical” climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa) and humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification Dfa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Winter snowfall is associated with large storms that the westerlies steer from west to east. Most summer rainfall occurs during thunderstorms.
