Description
Provincetown Municipal Airport is a public airport located at the end of Cape Cod, 3 km northwest of the central business district of Provincetown, a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
Climatology
Humid continental climate with a maritime influence (Köppen climate classification Dfa/Cfa) - characterized by four seasons: cold, windy, snowy winters, mild springs, hot, humid summers, and crisp and relatively short autumns. Precipitation reaches its lowest in January and February and peaks in summer and latter half of spring. The surrounding ocean has the effect of delaying the onset of the seasons keeping spring temperatures cooler and fall temperatures warmer than the rest of the state.
