Larnaca International Airport is an international airport located 4 km southwest of Larnaca, Cyprus. Larnaca International Airport is Cyprus' main international gateway and the larger of the country's two commercial airports, the other being Paphos International Airport on the island's southwestern coast. Larnaca serves Larnaca, Nicosia and Famagusta.

Climatology

Dry-summer subtropical ”Mediterranean" climate (Köppen climate classification Csa) - characterized by hot, dry summers and mild winters. During the summer, subtropical high pressure cells dominate, making rainfall unlikely except for the occasional thunderstorm. In the winter, periodic storms bring rain (snow at higher elevations).
