Verona Airport, also known as Valerio Catullo Villafranca Airport or simply Verona-Villafranca Airport is an airport located 2.7 nm southwest of Verona, Italy.

Climatology

Humid “subtropical” climate influenced by the Mediterranean climate of the Italian Lakes (Köppen climate classification Cfa/Csa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Winter rainfall (and sometimes snowfall) is associated with large storms that the westerlies steer from west to east. Most summer rainfall occurs during thunderstorms. High relative humidity frequently causes fog mainly from dusk until late morning.
