Faa'a International Airport or Tahiti Faa'a International Airport is located in the commune (municipality) of Faa'a, on the island of Tahiti, French Polynesia, 5 km west southwest from the town center of Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. It is the only airport in French Polynesia serving international flights.

Climatology

Tropical Monsoon climate (Köppen climate classification Am) - monthly mean temperatures above 18°C in every month of the year and features wet and dry seasons. A tropical monsoon climate typically features less pronounced dry seasons than a tropical savanna climate and see less variance in temperatures during the course of the year. The driest month nearly always occurs at or soon after the "winter" solstice.
