Description
Pegasus Field is the farthest south of McMurdo Station's three frozen airstrips. Located near McMurdo Station, Antarctica, this white ice runway is used for wheeled aircraft which can not land at the busier Williams Field runway, which is snow instead of the hard ice like at Pegasus Field.
