Description

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is an international airport located in Dayuan Township, Taoyuan County, Taiwan. It is one of three Taiwanese airports with regular international flights. Opened in 1979, the airport was known as Chiang Kai-shek International Airport until the name was changed in 2006 to its current name.

Climatology

Humid “subtropical” climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Winter rainfall is associated with large storms.
