Calicut International Airport, also known as Karipur Airport, is a public airport located 28 km southeast of Kozhikode (Calicut) and 25 km northwest of Malappuram, cities in the state of Kerala, India.

Climatology

Tropical Monsoon climate (Köppen climate classification Am) - monthly mean temperatures above 18°C in every month of the year and features wet and dry seasons. A tropical monsoon climate typically features less pronounced dry seasons than a tropical savanna climate and sees less variance in temperatures during the course of the year. The driest month nearly always occurs at or soon after the "winter" solstice.
