Description

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is an airport located in the Yubei District of Chongqing, People's Republic of China. It is located 21 km north of the city-centre of Chongqing and serves as an important aviation hub for south-western China.

Within the Köppen Climate Classification System, ((Koppen climate classification Cwa)) this climate type generally has warm and humid summers with mild winters. Its extent is from 30 to 50° of latitude mainly on the eastern and western borders of most continents. During the winter, the main weather feature is the mid-latitude cyclone. Convective thunderstorms provide precipitation in the summer months.
