Description

Qianjiang Wulingshan Airport is an airport serving Qianjiang District of Chongqing municipality, China. It is located in the town of Zhoubai and was formerly called Qianjiang Zhoubai Airport, but was renamed in November 2011 after the nearby Wuling Mountains. It has a 2,400-meter runway (class 4C)

Within the Köppen Climate Classification System, ((Koppen climate classification Cwa)) this climate type generally has warm and humid summers with mild winters. Its extent is from 30 to 50° of latitude mainly on the eastern and western borders of most continents. During the winter, the main weather feature is the mid-latitude cyclone. Convective thunderstorms provide precipitation in the summer months.
