African Airlines Association (AFRAA)
The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) is a trade association that represents airlines based in Africa. The association’s stated mission is “to promote, serve African airlines and champion Africa’s aviation industry.”
AFRAA was established in April 1968 in Accra, Ghana, and its headquarters are currently located in Nairobi, Kenya. The organization currently has 40 member carriers from African Union member States.
