International Airborne Geophysics Safety Association (IAGSA)

Description

The International Airborne Geophysics Safety Association (IAGSA) is a nonprofit organization based in Canada that promotes the safe operation of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft on airborne geophysical surveys. The organization develops recommended practices and serves as a center for the exchange of safety information and as a repository for specialized statistics. IAGSA was incorporated in November 1995.

IAGSA's core members are geophysical survey companies that operate aircraft, Associate members include mining and mineral resource companies that use the results of the surveys and aviation companies that operate the aircraft carrying out the surveys.
