Background

This safety enhancement is aimed at reducing turbulence injuries to flight attendants (FA’s) and passengers by standardizing the following techniques across all Part 121 air carriers: improved situational awareness, turbulence encounter management procedures (before, during and after encounter), and enhanced communication methodologies.
