2019 Safety Forum

EUROCONTROL, Brussels, 4 -5 June 2019

Safety and Procedures

Safety & Procedures is the topic of the 2019 Safety Forum. In aviation, Procedures are developed to ensure Safety. Our industry has volumes of procedures intended to cover all possibilities. But can we ensure safety by just expecting human actors to follow procedures? We are looking forward to exchanging ideas and experiences on the development of procedures, hear about real-life cases when a departure from the established procedures saved the day or how pilots/controllers acted when encountering a situation not covered by any procedures.

The 2019 Safety Forum

The 7th Annual Aviation Safety Forum will be held in Brussels (EUROCONTROL HQ) and will start on Tuesday 4 June 2019 at 12:00 to end the following day at 15:00. Like its predecessors, this Safety Forum is aimed specifically at front line professionals and those who train and manage them.
