Climatology

Humid “subtropical” climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Most summer rainfall occurs during thunderstorms and occasional tropical storms (hurricanes).
