Overview

The webinar aims to inspire and raise awareness about Human Factors and Human Performance in practice, providing the setting for understanding and improving fatigue and stress risk management implementation applied to the ATM domain. A case study from ENAIRE, Spain`s public Air Navigation Service Provider, will be presented to illustrate the effectiveness of utilizing the Toolkit for air traffic management occurrence investigation (TOKAI) developed by EUROCONTROL for a successful Stress and Fatigue Management.

ENAIRE CISM Programme Manager and operational air traffic controller

Gudalupe is and Air Traffic Controller with experience in air navigation management in the field of human performance and human factors. She has a BSc in Linguistics, an MBA in Air Transport and a MSc in Human Factors in Aviation. She is accredited as Human Factors Practitioner by EUROCONTROL, as Human Factors Specialist by the European Association for Aviation Psychology (EAAP) and as Individual and Group Crisis Intervention Instructor by the International Critical Stress Foundation (ICISF). She works at ENAIRE, where she launched the HF Department and the Fatigue and STress Safety Risk Management System for air traffic controllers. Internationally, she Co-chairs with EUROCONTROL the Safety Human Performance Sub-Group (SHPSG) and has collaborated with IFATCA as Professional and Legal Committee member, and CANSO as Chair in the Human Performance Working Group. Currently she is the ENAIRE CISM Programe Manager, as well as an operational air traffic controller at the Madrid Air Traffic Control Centre. In a private capacity, she collaborates with the Spanish National Supervisory Authority (AESA), and other institutions, in the domain of Human Factors.
